Heya <<First Name>>,
It’s 4:32 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4.
The election has me awake, but my thoughts have drifted and now I’m thinking about kids books.
Naturally.
Regardless of how the voting goes, the work for us at 320 Sycamore Studios will remain the same: Doing our little bit to make the world a more decent, empathetic, and irreverent place.
We think reading with kids is a great way to do it. So let’s talk zombies!

A dark, squishy place
For the past few weeks, we’ve been sharing the complete text of our chapter book “Scar and the Wolf.” (Start here if you missed any of the story.)
This week, Scarlet ends up in a very dark, very squishy, place. And finds she’s not alone …
We’ll finish the story next week. Da-da-DAH!
Whether or not the votes are counted by then, we will story on.
Happy reading,
Jeff, Bob, and Zoe
Current reads: “Island Boy and the Unforgettables” and “American Gods” (Jeff); “Who Not How” and Shelly Palmer’s blog (Bob); “Clean: The New Science of Skin” (Zoe). |
