Heya <<First Name>>,
After I sent last week’s email (about the benefits of reading aloud to teens), I received a wonderful reply from Connie T.
She gave me permission to share it.
“I read to my grandson most every evening until he was in 10th grade! He struggled with anxiety and ADHD. School (and life) was rough for him! While he had a great group of supportive friends and teachers, reading to him just relaxed him. We read lots of classic books … I always hid this from others — I got accused of indulging him, but I am so glad that I read to him for as long as I did!”
I’m so glad she did, too.
Happy reading,
Jeff, Bob, and Claire …
… who believe that reading with kids can change the world for the better.
