There are lots of great reasons to read aloud to kids, but there’s maybe only one that matters. 

Because it’s fun!

As Mem Fox said, “Entertainment IS the teacher.”

We’re starting a new serial story today. It’s called “Winnie’s Whoosh Went Walkabout” and I (Jeff) wrote it specifically to be fun to read aloud.
