Heya <<First Name>>,
When you were a kid, did you ever feel like all the other kids were cooler? Smarter? More creative? Better athletes? Like pretty soon they’d look at you and say, “Hey, what are you doing here? You don’t belong.”
(Or was that just me?)
Anyway, maybe you can relate to the hero of our current story, “Moldylocks and the Bear.”
Even though she’s a zombie, she’s really just a girl trying to find out where she fits in.
Her crisis comes when she has to decide whether fitting in is worth losing her best friend.
I added a lot of just-gross-enough zombie humor in the hope that it would hold the attention of any reluctant readers in your family.
And you, too, if you’re reading aloud.
Which is always a good idea.
Happy reading.
