I didn’t originally intend to do an audio version of “Ooh Odd Zoo.” I figured there’s nothing better than a real-live human reading to a child — those moments are special for kids and for grownups.

But after a 4th-grade teacher asked me to record the book, I realized that maybe an audio version could be a nice complement to read-aloud time. 

Perhaps when parents are unavailable, or caregivers don’t speak English as their first language, or maybe if a kid is curious about what the writer sounds like. 

So, for what it’s worth, I recorded simple audio versions of “Ooh Odd Zoo” and “Ooh Odd Zoo, Too.”
